THE DELEGATION OF ECC, CZECH UNIVERSITIES AND COMPANIES VISITED AND WORKED IN NINH THUAN PROVINCE

On September 26, 2022, the delegation of the European Cooperation Center (ECC), Ton Duc Thang University included Dr. Phan Dao, Director of the ECC, and leaders of VSB Technical University of Ostrava, Tomas Bata University in Zlín, BR GROUP a.s. and others Czech enterprises had an official meeting with the Department of Planning and Investment of Ninh Thuan Province under the authorization of the People's Committee of Ninh Thuan Province. Attending the meeting, in addition to the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment, there were also representatives of the leaders of relevant departments, industries, industrial parks, etc. to seek cooperation opportunities in the fields of human resource training, research and technology transfer, projects calling for investment of the province Ninh Thuan.

At the meeting, leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment introduced overview information about natural conditions, potentials and advantages for socio-economic development of the province and said that Ninh Thuan is currently applying investment policies in the province in the direction of ensuring the best interests, the most convenient and simplest administrative procedures for investors who have investment projects in the province area. At the same time, he expressed his wish that BR Group would have specific project proposals for investment in Ninh Thuan and hoped that this trip would open the way for the development cooperation of the two localities; The province will create all the most favorable conditions for the investors from the Czech Republic to learn and invest in Ninh Thuan in the near future. Ninh Thuan supports cooperation with VSB TUO and UTB in Zlín in the field of human resources education, research projects in the field of energy and especially renewable energy, environment, logistAics, tourism etc.

The Department of Planning and Investment of Ninh Thuan Province welcomed and worked with the Delegation of ECC, TDTU, VSB TUO, UTB in Zlín, BR Group and others Czech companies (September 26, 2022).

In the speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the delegation, Dr. Phan Dao, Director of ECC, expressed his impression of Ninh Thuan's potential and advantages, especially the possession of a long coastline; at the same time, he realized that the province has a number of projects suitable for the vision of BR Group, especially investment in resorts and industrial parks in Ninh Thuan province. In addition, Technical University of Ostrava and Tomas Bata University also expressed their desire to cooperate in human resource training, research and technology transfer in the fields of energy research, renewable energy, environment, mechanics, computer science, finance and administration..., thereby contributing to the socio-economic development of Ninh Thuan province.

Mr R. Bochenek, Chairman of BR Group a.s. expressed his hope and belief that with BR Group's experience, there are more than 100 Vietnamese workers working in their factories, the diligence and humility of Vietnamese people have made a deep impression on the Group's Board, Directors of subsidiary companies and employees; with the Vietnam-Czech friendship, with the orientation of moving a number of labor-intensive production facilities abroad, with the orientation of developing real estate in industrial zones, tourism... Ninh Thuan is a suitable destination in Vietnam, investment strategy to expand production, trade and real estate of the Group.

Mr P. Napravnik, Director of Lucco, Spojmont, a member of BR Group had an impressive introduction about BR Group, especially orienting strategic cooperation with Vietnamese partners. Representatives of VSB and UTB also presented training programs, scientific and technological research cooperation with Ninh Thuan province.

Prof. V. Snasel, Rector of VSB Technical University of Ostrava, on behalf of Czech members thanked the leaders of the Department of Planning and Investment for the welcome and cordially invited leaders People's Committee of Ninh Thuan province and the companies to visit and work with the University and BR Group… as well as signing a cooperation agreement between the parties.

Previously, on September 25, the delegation was guided by the Department of Planning and Investment of Ninh Thuan province to visit industrial parks, tourist investment sites… Dr. Phan Dao said that the mission of the delegation was bringing investors from the Czech Republic to invest, cooperate in human resource training, science and technology transfer, especially in key areas that Ninh Thuan province has built in its development strategy the energy, renewable energy, digital economy, tourism and urban economy.
